Building project includes 30 trusses 5m span Fink or Queen post.
It is my property.
I live 12 miles north of Bristol and am not sure whether to get the trusses treated.
The Longhorn beetle is the threat to softwoods, the beetle is in and around the Thames valley area, and it may spread due to global warming.
Any advice would be welcome on this.

I have been getting quotes for trusses and Pasquill are the cheapest by some distance, has anyone bought from Pasquill and would care to share their views?

I don't think that Bristol is in the habitat area for LH beetle. But check with your building control team. And it's unlikely to change for as long as you are on the planet.

Pasquill are very good to deal with

Longhorn is round Surrey, but woodworm appear anywhere. It's possible they are rarer now that homes are dryer, and, with insulation, lofts are colder.

I can't see a reason not to treat construction timber.
