TRV Cap - Nothing Fits

I am doing some decorating and I want to cap off my TRVs. However, a 1/2" cap is too small and 3/4" is too big. The thread seems finer than BSP.

I have attached some photographs, so hopefully you might be able to help me find the correct cap to use.

2 possible ways1- remove the tail from the rad + cap the 1/2 inch end - joining it back to the valve body. 2 get a rad valve with a union connection + do the same .
