hello, i intend to fit a few TRV's, i am unsure to how they should fit? i cant seem to get a good tight fit from the male thread to the 15mm fitting. plus the instructions dont give any information.
i have added a picture of the components supplied so any information in which order the should be assembled in order to fit correctly would be apprecieted . Thanks Nick

you need to wrap the male thread about 15 times with ptfe tape, this bit then threads into radiator. all other connections on valve are a nut and olive which need to be fitted to pipe and tail(other end of thread) and tightened with a spanner. for extra tightness wrap olive in ptfe (only twice). job done

ps in the pic you have a reducing set which is the small copper olive and small brass reducer, you will not need these if using 15mm pipe.

The arrows on the body indicate that the vale can be fitted either way round - so head upwards or out to the side.

The two brass bits and smaller olive are a reducing set for if you have microbore plumbing (10mm I'd guess). If you have 15mm pipe then you just use one of the 15mm olives and put the reducing set in the "might be useful one day" jar.
