Good morning guys, please can someone help me. I recently removed an old Trv to unstick the pin. In doing so I broke the old one and now need to replace it. I have already tried the danross Randall but it didn't fit. I am at a total loss which one I need to replace it with or even how to measure what will fit! Really cannot afford a plumber to come out and would appreciate any one helping. I have attached a picture of the old Trv and the pipework the new one needs to fit on. Tia guys. Totally clueless lol

Does the TRV head not have a make/model on it? If so search for that you will probably find the same head. If you can’t then you will probably need to change the whole TRV.

The only thing I can see on the thermostat is that it is a danross and is probably 20-30 years old. I am looking for a whole replacement head but how do I know what size to get? My photo shows what the Trv head has to fit on to but how do I know what size that is? Hope this makes sense!

The Trv head broke. I bought what I thought was a replacement head (danross Randall) but it didn't fit. There are lots of Trv heads out there but how do I know what one will fit the pipe fitting (as shown in the photo) Tia ☺️
