TRVs and wireless controller

I would like to fit TRVs at home. I am usually the only person at home during the day, and I work in a small upstairs room that also houses the combi-boiler, but sometimes my wife works from home, or one or more of the children are at home. At the moment, I tend to take the wireless thermostat/controller with me to my office when I'm the only one in.
So, should I fit TRVs in all but two rooms - my office and the downstairs hall, maybe - and stil move the wireless controller, or is there a better solution?
