Hi. I live in a block of flats and the PRV for the cold water has started dripping. My pipe is 28mm but the plumber hasn't been able to source the exact part. The make is Syr and as far as we can see they only make PRV in 25mm or 32mm sizes (https://www.oeg.net/en/syr-druckminderer-g512242080).

I measured the width of the pipe on the valve and it seems to be 32mm. Am I correct in thinking we should order the 32mm version and that it's connected to the 28mm pipe via reducer? Hopefully you can see on the image what I mean.

Alternatively, could we just order this gauge part? https://www.advancedwater.co.uk/prod-520-470-0036.html

He's no plumber...find someone else. Clueless
Sizes quoted as Nominal are not exact....so don't bother measuring.
Since your pipe is 28mm copper it would appear you have a 28mm to 1" Female Iron coupling (as they are known as)....so you'll need the 1" threaded PRV (ie. the one shown as DN25)
I suspect these valves might be hard to come by, it might be as easy to use another make. You could change the cartridge but you'll pay ££££ for the privilege.
