Tumble dryer condensate pipe to gutter down pipe?

Hello everyone,

I have a Bosch heat pump dryer in my garage which has the option of emptying the condensate drawer after every use or attaching a drainage hose.

I don’t have any drainage in my garage but there is a guttering downpipe on the other side of the wall (which already seems to have the boiler condensate pipe running in to it). Would it be feasible for me to drill a hole through the wall and downpipe and have the dryer drain into this? If so, are there any fittings you’d recommend?

Thanks!

Not a plumber but I think that it could be done as you suggest. I will report the thread and ask for it to be moved to the plumbing/heating section where the plumbers will have a more in depth knowledge about regulations and fittings
