Hi all

I am working on my father-in-laws tumble dryer, Zanussi TC484W. The drive belt broke ages ago and we don't know the belt route to fix the replacement. I have tried a couple of options but not sure which one is correct and how to get the tension right. Couple of pictures attached which show two options for installing the belt.

Anyone know the correct belt route and how to get the tension right?

Happy New Year to you all

Cheers

Dan

I think the back of that belt should run over the tensioner. I also think the belts are of the stretch type and have nothing to adjust

Hi,

I hope this answers your question! :)

....ahhhh beaten to it! :ROFLMAO:
I shouldn't have watched the whole video!

Thanks for the video. That explains how the belt goes. Just need to work out the tension as there's too much slack

Cheers
