Just been to fix a Hoover tumble dryer should have been a 10 minute job, the belt was broke and she had bought the replacement, after a bit of swearing I got the new one on.
But when you turn the machine on the timer has somthing spinning inside and it clicks every so often which I presume is the cycle for turning drum one way then the other.
But the drum does not turn, any ideas? possible motor? its only about 14 months old and from the state of it well used! I did try to rotate the drum by hand and it seems tight but does rotate OK.
Another favour I should have steered well clear of
