It's a washer dryer - Hotpoint WD865
The dryer works - it gets hot, fan is blowing, water valves open and pump pumps, but clothes are still damp at the end of the cycle - sometimes wetter than they were at the start!
What I have noticed when testing on an empty drum, is that just after the valves open to take in some water at various times during the cycle (presumably to cool the condenser?) there is a visible trickle of water in the back of the drum.
So is it possible that water is somehow getting into the drum? If so where do I need to look for faults?
thanks
