Turbomax Plus 824E

Hi

I have recently moved home and the boiler is a Valliant Turbomax Plus 824E. I have read through the manuals and there is a dial next to the timer (picture attached) that is not in there. Can anyone let me know what it's for? I'm thinking it turns the radiators on? Boilers are not my strong point!

Just a guess, it may allow you to control the rads either OFF, TIMED, CONSTANT.

Selector switch to control the htg, from right to left the settings of the switch are -timed - constantly on - off
