Hi all forgive me if this has been delta with on here , I have searched but could not find what I am looking for.
I want to change the taps in the bathroom .
On the sink is ok as the have isolation screws on them ,but the bath ones dont .
My problem is , we have just have installed a Valiant ecotec plus 824 combi boiler.
If I turn the water main off in the house this will stop the water going to the boiler and in turn prevent any hot water .but I am concerned about damaging the boiler .would I need to turn the boiler off Completely ? and when I turn it back on again. How do I get the correct pressure .thanks for any help .

Turn the mains off, do what you have to do and it won't affect anything else. It won't damage the boiler.

Thanks Denso13 ,
Will be attempting this over the weekend and will let you know how it all goes .

Well thanks Denso13 ,you were right turn the stop cock off and all was good .took old taps off ,replaced with new ones so far so good . Problem now is the new taps are to short to reconnect to the pipes .any ideas .cheers.

You could either extend the existing pipework or use the dreaded flexi's.
