Hi there,

I'm looking at turning a couple of potted hydrangeas from pink to blue.

Apartently I need aluminium sulphate solution but I can't find any in the UK.

Has anyone seen any online to buy?

Or is there another method to change them to blue?

Cheers

Apparently metal fileings / dust do the same. Have a word with a local engineering shop and ask can you have a shovel or two of metal fileings. I am sure they will oblige. Rack them around the base of the plant

I bought a pot of specifically-labelled hydrangea colourant from my local garden centre, I think it was iron sulphate.

A pot lasts me about 2-3 years and cost about £7 so not bad value.
