TV coaxial adapter for DVD scart

I have a portable tv that has no scart input, just a coaxial Ariel input and RBG input whatever that is.

My question is there an adapter that can bring the signal from the DVD via scart for coaxial input in the tv ?

yes, it's called a modulator and you can get them from Maplin etc.

Edit - you may be able to use an RGB - SCART adapter if your DVD player has an RGB output which may be part of the SCART connector.

RGB won't help because the RF modulator requires composite video input and mono audio.

But if the DVD player has RGB out and the telly has RGB in then a modulator isn't required (assuming another connector or an external amp/speaker handles the sound)

Well spotted. I'd also failed to notice that the TV has an Ariel washing powder input.
