The remote control on an elderly Samsung flat screen tv (40") has packed up; the on/off button seems to have lost its 'spring'. Can I replace it with a new one/how would I code it? All modern tv's are a mystery to me!
Or just look up the TV model number and google replacement remote controls. Or look at the model number on the remote if it's still legible and buy a replacement. Genuine remote controls typically seem better to me but sometimes they're silly money. Sometimes people also sell old remotes on ebay once their TV's packed up too. No need for coding.
Branded original and replacement remote controls with same business day despatch on replacement remotes. Free UK delivery and secure online payment.

You can then compare prices with those on eBay.
I would prefer to get a genuine or a replacement designed for your TV rather than having to program a universal remote which is unlikely to have the same layout.
Replaced from Remote Controls Shop as above. ‘Genuine’ replacements out of stock but replacement version is OK. 3x price of cheapest but worked straightaway. Thanks all for help.
