Hi, I'm making holes in the chimney wall for a tv bracket. On the manual it says to use a 10mm screw bit to do the pilot holes, should I first use the 8mm bit then use the 10mm? Or should I just start off by using the 10mm?

Should wander less using smaller bit , I would drill all positions first with 6mm.
