two way lighting fault

whilest changing a two way light fitting in my hall, the wires in the ceiling rose became disconnected, i reinstalled them as i thought correct ,but now one of the two hall lights remains permanently on regardless of which switch i press, whilest the other operates as it should, help please

you have either not connected the switch wire, or connected it in the wrong place.

first you need to find out which one it is. you will need a continuity tester or multi meter to do this (or one dose of very good luck)

you could look at the other one to see how its done, but you still need to identify the switch wire
 
But Breezer, do people know how to use test equipment????
