I am trying to fit an outside light. I have a two gang two way switch and a 1 gang two way switch in my lounge. I want to install the light by replacing the 2 way 1 gang switch for a 2 way 2 gang switch. The one gang two way switch is connected as follows:- there are two cables coming into the box one contains a yellow wire with a red sleeve connected to common, also a blue wire with a red sleeve connected to L1 and a small red wire connected to L2. The other cable contains a yellow wire with a red sleeve connected to L1 and a small red wire connected to L2 and a blue wire which is not connected at all. Both cables contain earths which are properly connected to the box. Can I connect the twin and earth cable from the outside light to the 2 gang 2 way switch so that one swicth is two way and the other is one way for the outside light?

One problem with this sort of setup is its unlikely for there to be a neutral at the switch. However, as you have a spare blue core at the switch, is it possible to trace where this wire comes from? If so it should hopefully be possible to do.
