Typical re-roofing costs

Hi all,

The in-law has just bought a new investement property knowing the pitched roof needs attention. It basically needs totally replacing.

Size of the roof is approx 290m2 and needs completely re-roofed with felt, battens and concrete tiles (smooth).

Anyone got any ideas as to what kind of price should would be looking at. Had a few quotes in but wanted to see how they stacked p agains your thoughts.

Blimey, you're good value!

I would reckon, if conc interlocking tiles around £16K, if concrete plain tiles around 24K (dependant on complexity)

This would include stripping, re-tiling, scaffold and skips.

I was shocked when i read the £5,800 price but SurreyRoofingEstimateor is pretty spot on as we have had a quote for £15k for the lot.

Just wanted to see how it stacked up from other people before i revealed our quoted price.

I'm so used to customers asking for `ballpark figures' on the phone that I can guess fairly well nowadays

Useful to me tho`. I now know it`s roughly £55-60 a sq. metre
