Tyvek housewrap exposure

Anyone know how long housewrap can be left exposed to the UK weather for after installation on a timber frame build? May be a while until we can render board then render.

Yes, or affix another layer of a cheap (sacrificial) breathable membrane onto the battens that can just be peeled away and disposed of later when you come to board it.

It'll mainly be UV that takes the toll, I'd say, so perhaps prioritise the parts of the house most exposed to sun if you're short on covering

Ah luckily it's west facing so it never gets sun! I think we will tarp it up too to prolong it as long as possible.
