Hi all,

Just after some advice, I’ve gone to view a property, had a very quick look in the loft. Couldn’t access it properly, slightly high ceilings and no proper ladder, I was able to pop the hatch open and grab these pictures.

I’m no pro, nor know what I’d be looking at, however, is this concerning the amount of light coming through? Pictures taken around 1400, nice sunny day for once in the UK.

Let me know yours thoughts or any questions that I will try to answer.

It's had a new roof and a dry ridge.
Those tiles are not great and don't interlock like they should, and you're right to be concerned.
Take professional advice

It's been re roofed,badly.
It has a breathable underlay and no doubt the only thing keeping heavy rain out .. They look like Norfolk pan tiles and need care when fitting .
They've been chucked on

So I’ve got a family member who builds for a living and I thought I’d post it here whilst I was waiting for a reply.

He has basically said the same as what you two have said, so looks like I’ll need to have a chat with them

They look like the worst tiles in the world to lay.
The rule "a tile for every place and a place for every tile " applies with these you can not just chuck them on like you can a concrete interlocking tile or even an Anglia.
Marley concrete plain in antique brown are easier

...and I thought Anglias were bad.
