Hi,
I'd love a hot powerful shower!
I have inherited a Aqualisa Thermostatic shower. Despite the hot water from the taps being scorching the shower remains luke warm on the hottest setting. Our cold water is mains fed. The hot water is stored in a Fortic Cylinder (with header tank) in the airing cupboard. There is nothing in our loft. From what I can make out the shower inlet for the hot to the shower goes down under the bedroom floorboards and then up into the shower in the bathroom, therefore completely unbalanced.
What can I do? Fit a shower pump on the hot pipe? There is already a pump for the central heating (and the hot water taps I think).
Simply turn the stop cock down slightly to reduce cold water pressure?
Any advice much appreciated.
Thanks
Staro
