Hello people.
Can anybody give a few pointers towards what seems to be an inbalance in water pressure and/or flow between upstairs and downstairs.
I.e if tap is on downstairs and tap in bathroom upstairs is switched on there is a massive reduction in flow upstairs. Also if cistern is filling upstairs then tap upstairs has virtually no flow. The cold water is mains feed and with w/bosch 28si ll combi system. The house is 1950`s and was originally on gravity fed til about 3 years ago. Could the original plumbing be no good for the modern system? I can not see any flow reduction valves etc between up and down stairs pipework. Mains pressure seems to be acceptable downstairs and we are on a water meter, if that has any relevance. The problem applies to both the hot and cold water supply.
Please help if you can.
