Flicking through the TV channels the other night and caught a glimps of a Terrace house on Grand Designs Live. In the small narrow garden the owner had put in some patio decking which lifted up to show waterproof storage "boxes" underneath (no more than 12 inch clearance). I too have a small garden with a space problem and wondered if there are product available or if it was a bespoke design. Cheers in advance.

could you not make a trapdoor and put plastic boxes with lids underneath?

Yeah I guess.. better off lining out area with ply and silcone all joints. Then treat in water seal. This will prevent damp /weeds/mice and sucg like. Make the door as a bi-fold and ply line too so that water cant get in. Bi fold means not too heavy to lift. MAke one door slightly lager than the second so when it bi-folds ot also stands up on its own without the need for any other support. Good luck
