Hi, I am in the planning process of laying a limecrete floor floor and thought it may be an idea to dry install UFH pipes in the screed with the tails out into the adjacent building where the boiler is located.
We don't intend to connect them as there's a woodburner and pipework for rads but thought it an ideal time, just in case .
I would be grateful if someone could give me a rough idea of how many metres of what size pipes would be needed for a 7m x 4m room for background heat only.
There will be 150mm of foamed glass insulated aggregate under the screed

Thanks

Ok, I know how much pipe but my experience is in copper so would be grateful for advice on the best make /type of the pipe, pump and two zone manifold/mixer please, especially pipe that'll maybe stay down better under pressure test as it will only be fixed into clip rail cable tied to flimsy geogrid
Thanks
