i've got an old victorian floor that is drafty in the winter.

Of all the options i've looked into, i think underfloor insulation is the best bet.

I', happy to do the work my self as i don't think it will take much. There's enough space to crawl around under the floorboards so i don't need to remove all the timber.

My only concern are the pipes that are down there. is there anything i should be wary of when doing this work?

also - what type of insulation do you think i should use?

Many thanks,

Ben

is it just me, or is one of those piers/pillars leaning?

do the pipes need insulating while you're on? what are they pipes for?

pipes are gas, possibly water. though not entirely sure.

@freddycercurystwin - thanks for the other thread for advice on the material. Very helpful
