Underground Surface Water Pipework

Good afternoon, two simple questions I hope.

Number 1, I am installing a new surface water drainage system on a barn conversion. I am wondering what is the minimum depth this pipework needs to be buried at?

Number 2, Is it OK to tie in a French drain to this system also?

No minimum but should be concreted over if shallow/vulnerable.

Is it connected to the mains or a soakaway?

Its actually run into a gulley at the side of the property.
