underlay

hello helpers, my next project is laying down laminated flooring !! I know it isnt the best but it still says 10 or 12 years guarantee so why not, do you think thats true ? im laying in bedroom so its not heavy traffic also what is the best quality underlay ? are there different thicknesses ? thanks for your help i couldnt live without you all ...cheers P M

Im confused on life span also!!!!!!!!!!!!, its based on an average, so are you average?
Get the underlay that you think you require & only you know that.
