understanding staple sizes..?

Can't help with the sizes, but I do recall that last time I needed to know, google came up with the answer
As for the staples from Screwfix ..... I have always used staples made by Stanley in my Roybi gun with no real probelms, but last year I got some from Screwfix - Rapesco IIRC, and they kept jamming in the gun. I wont use them again

norb - T50 refers to the Arrow T50 stapler (and their hammer tacker) and the T140 refers to Rapesco tackle. Your stapler should have stamped onto it which TYPE of staple you need; if it says No53 then these are the ones you want. The ref to T50, etc., just means that they'll fit this tackle, as Arrow tends to be the 'industry standard'.
