Uneven Roof

Hi there

Our house was built around 1820 and one side of the roof looks a bit battered. Not flat and steady like the other side.

My mum knows a guy who does all stuff like this and says she trusts him, and he had a look and quoted £10,000 to sort it out.

Maybe it is impossible to say without knowing exactly what he is going to do, but does this sound like a reasonable quote? I don't want my mum to get ripped off.

Get some more quotes and ask what requires doing for the amount

Grim oop North.. ...we got a whole roof on a block of 4 flats re tiled /membrane and battens and a bit of leadwork for £8500 down here in Sath was concrete tiles tho
