I have taken the skirting and architrave back to the wood and used Danish oil on them. The problem is the walls have been replastered and patched up several times over the century since the house was built and are completely uneven and in parts overlap the skirting.
Normally I would draw a line slightly above the skirting and take the paint up to that so there is an illusion of a straight skirting bit I cannot cover the wall paint with the danish oil so what other options are there ?
Could I do it in reverse and take the oil up above the skirting and cover that with the emo in a straight line ?
