I have an outbuilding with some old guttering (more than 20 years old), a tree has broken one of the union brackets so there's now a gap in the gutter.
Due to a bad back I currently can't shin up a ladder to check the width of the main guttering (with a view to at least ordering a replacement union bracket).
I think the half round gutter must be 150mm but I see that there's some info molded into the end cap which the downpipe connects to, which reads:
BRETT
BR 65
152mmNOM
BS 4576
A google search turns up no matches for BR 65, there is a company called Brett Martin who sell guttering, etc but no matches there either.
Any ideas please on the likely width of the gutter? As a union bracket seems to cost about 13 quid or more I don't want to buy the wrong one.
