Unique brick

I’m trying to find some unique shape bricks. We’ve now got a gap where a down pipe was removed. Any idea what these shape bricks are called and where to find replacements?

Cornice brick. But they come in lots of different shapes and profiles.

A local reclamation yard may have locally used bricks.

A friend of mine is a brick pointer. From time to time, he has to have bricks custom made. Those "red rubber" bricks often break down if there has been, for example, leaking gutters.

Custom bricks are expensive though.

If there is only a couple he uses mortar to re-face them and then mixes some coloured brick mortar powder with water and PVA to blend them in.

Which area are you in?

I consider myself to an extremely good decorator but I am a small fish in a very big pond, he is far and away the best pointer that I have come across, here in west London he is a big fish in a small pond.
