Hi again
Due to a deep shared foul drain that runs within 3 meters of a planned extension, i'm going to be speaking to united utilities about build over agreements. Im currently planning on how to deal with a foul drain that passes through the proposed the footing - the problem is the depth is almost 2 meters down.
I also have a waste water drain (not foul) that runs under the existing garage floor and will also have to be sorted out.
How much value are in the united utilities drainage plans? The A1 size plans say they are the only ones that show the invert level. How accurate are these plans (generally) and are they worth getting? Im considering what options i have at the moment in dealing with the depth of the pipes and if its going to financially viable. Digging 2 meter deep footings and then filling them back up with concrete may prove too costly, but i'd rather figure that out now.
Has anyone ordered plans from united utilities, and how much use were they?
Thanks again.
Bill
