Dear All

I found some unknown board (as picture attached) are laying on top of the thermal insulation roll in my loft. Some of the are in bad condition. I suspect that caused woodlice. I would like to replace them. Do you all think that is a good idea and may I know what kind of board is that?

Thanks

woodlice live on damp, rotting wood, so you have a leak (or possibly excessive condensation, possibly caused by steam rising from the bathroom)

fix the source of damp first. Then you can replace the boards. I suggest 18mm ply, screwed down. it is quite strong and durable.

Probably the old carcass of a wardrobe used to accommodate storage in loft .
