Afternoon,
We have moved into a new ground flat converted flat. We have pulled up the lined paper and several layers of wallpaper the hope we could just paint the walls in the hallway.
The one wall which does not sound solid has a grey metallic look and is very smooth. Almost like plasterboard I think?
The second wall feels almost plastic to the touch. I think there is some other material underneath. Again is not a solid brick wall and sounds hollow. I am unsure if I can paint straight onto this material.
I am unsure what the walls are, can anyone shed any light, and advise on how to paint them?
thanks,
Haggis
