Quick question....
I ordered 25x38 sawn treated batons for my summerhouse roof, but the supplier has delivered untreated redwood by mistake. The driver said he couldnt deliver the correct ones until next Tues, but we are off on holiday on Monday so I wanted to get this done this weekend.
Im wondering whether I should use the redwood for roofing batons. The roof will covered with cedar shingles and there will be a breather paper over the T&G boarding, then batons, then the shingles. I think there will be plenty of ventilation but I would like opinions on whether to use the untreated redwood for the batons.
Thoughts please?....
