I'm involved in a barn conversion and have a query regarding the hot water set up.

Below is how the water is supplied to the building.

The water is fed from a break tank up in the hills, it comes down into a 250 gallon approx cold water tank that sited in the loft space.

Now the customer has various hot outlets so is insisting on an un vented hot water set up.

Is it possible to fit a booster pump (say 3bar) on the cold feed to the cylinder, would this work in the same manner as 3bar main ?

You need a pump with a pressure vessel and pressure switch so that it maintains a pressure and turns on when required.

They can be a bit noisy so best in a location where noise is not going to be a problem.
