I am replacing an existing 6kw shower with a 9.8kw shower. The existing shower is wired with 6mm cable to a 30 amp fuse. The new shower recommends a 45 amp fuse but is a bit ambiguous about the cable size. All the advice I have looked at tends to suggest that a 6mm cable is borderline. Should I replace it with 10mm cable?
