UPVC espagnolette gearbox failure

Window not closing properly and handle just turns around.Took the espagnolette lock and handle off and discovered broken metal inside the gearbox.The window is about 17 years old and side hung.Name on the espagnolette is profile 22 and the model number is GR100.Its 905mm long and i was wondering if changing the gerabox would be easier rather than the whole thing as its a strange lenth.Can they be cut to size or would it be easier to get a replacement gearbox and can anyone suggest /recommend a supplier? thanks
