I hope someone can provide me with some guidance...

My current fascias are in a bit of a mess and the gutters leak, currently, there is capping over the top of the original wooden fascia board.

It's not exactly brilliantly done, see the images.

There are missing bits where the capping doesn't cover the original fascia, see:

The capping is fixed with single nails and there is poor detailing, for example, the diamond shape is cut from the scrap fascia board, see:

The fascia seems to be coming away in places, see:

[Question] Should I just get the capping repaired or is replacement with UPVC the best option in this instance?

Also, I have noticed that there is expandable foam just under the tiles, presumably to stop the rainwater getting in underneath. I am assuming that if the Fascias are sorted I will have to ask for a repair here as well, see:

[Question] Is expandable foam a normal solution under roof tiles like this? Is there a better way?

[Question] As I'm getting fresh guttering installed is there a way to prevent moss from blocking the guttering? Is there a type of guttering system or product that I should look at?
