upvc front door

Hi all please could someone help,i have a upvc front door.my problem is when i lock the door with the key i cant pull the key out as its not turning enough to pull the key out.it doesnt matter if we are going to bed as i can lock the door and leave the key in but if im going out i cant lock it from the outside as i cant pull the key out as its not lining up straight enough to pull it out.it seems to me like something inside the lock has slipped but im no expert so any help would be very grateful.thanks

hi with the door open i can still only pull the key out in the open position.

Yep barrell has gone by the sound of it. Had this problem not so long ago.
