Hi all
This is my first post so please bear with me. I have just returned from a weekend away and while I was away, I had an estate agent showing possible buyers around. On returning to my house today, I have come to find that my front door is not working as it was when I left.
Usually to lock the door I need to close it, lift the handle fully and then turn the key. It now seems that on closing the door and lifting the handle that the door becomes locked although the handle is not fully rigid.
I have had a quick look to see what's wrong but to no avail. All I can see is that when I lift the handle the central locking bar fixes in an outright position. I have not yet spoken to my estate to see what has caused this but I am hoping there is a simple fix?
Any ideas?
Thanks
Steve
