Hi all
We had some grey upvc french doors fitted last year. The installer left expanding foam stains everywhere so I bought some Soudal foam remover. Having followed the instructions to the letter there was a horrible white residue left on every point I used the remover which looks worse than the expanding foam. Soudal have said this is rare and have recommended I try a solvent upvc cleaner but it has to be none hazardous so it doesn’t damage the “foil “ of the upvc? The cream based upvc cleaners don’t look strong enough to clean these horrible marks and I’m thinking of spraying over the marks with a bit of masking here and there but am afraid the new paint will react badly with the Soudal residue. Any ideas guys and gals? Thanks

Is that a residue or has the cleaner taken the grey off the plastic?
I would suspect the latter.

I think its residue Timbo as its alot more white in some areas. Do you think over spraying it would be the best solution?

I saw a mobile double glazing spray painting firm in our neighbourhood the other day. He was spraying a grey front door frame.
