Hi, we have two uPVC windows that are split into 6 panels 2/3rd bottom with 1/3 top. The 2 centre panels are openers both at the bottom and top section. The larger bottom centre panel is clearly out of square and at the top opposite the hinge has a clear gap to which we can see daylight and doesn't touch the rubber gasket.
The windows are externally glazed and glass panel stuck in with double sided sticky tape. They have been in for around 6 years and we knew they aware draughty but not quite this bad
Is there a way this can be fixed or will the whole opening frame need replacing. Someone suggested taking out the glass and squaring up the frame with packers ? and then re taping the frame and sticking the glass back in which will hold it's square..
Is that possible or will the uPVC crack when being moved back into square. If it is possible how easy is it and I can away with some DIY but I'm not great.
Many Thanks...Rod
