I installed a new bi-fold door which leads from the living room to the conservatory which runs on a flush metal track.

I am now intending to lay a real wood floor in the conservatory, and with the appropiate underlay and thickness of flooring it is level with the top of the metal track which the bi fold door runs on which was the intention as it provides a smooth transition (no trip hazard) between the 2 rooms.

My problem is how do i provide an aesthetic looking transition between the wood floor and metal track whilst still maintaining the required expansion gap for the flooring ?????

All advice or help would be grateful

If floor and rail are flush, adding to the height of the floor with beading or and End threshold is stopping the sliding door????
