use by dates on tile adhesive

Hi can someone give me some advice?

I have just had 12 bags of Ardex delivered and was going to start tiling in the morning. However, I have just noticed that the use by date on the adhesive is 18 oct 11. I want to get started so how critical will 1 month out of date be. I will be taking most of them back anyway but whilst the wife gets them replaced I wanted to get started in the first 2-3 mtrs.

Any advice??

Take them all back, you wouldn't want to have that 2-3 mtrs fail now would you?

Are you sure that's not the batch date? Use by dates are normally only month critical (i.e. not date specific), although I can't say for certain if ardex do this with their tile adhesive tbh.
