Hi
I have some 22mm hot water pipes coming from the ceiling to the floor and there are some small gaps (<2cm) between the pipes and ceiling. I have filled the gaps with decorators caulk and noticed that the caulk has turned a light blue where the caulk is in direct contact with the copper pipes. Is this normal? And will the caulk eventually break down over time due to heat exposure?
Thanks in advance.
