Using solar hot water system for in-slab floor heating

Does anyone know anything about whether you can run the water from a rooftop solar hot water system down through a concrete slab or hydronic wall units in winter as a form of heating. We've got all this nice hot water sitting on our roof in winter and it seems a pity not to make more use of it.
If you were building a new place and could run pipes through the slab is it do-able? Expensive? How would it work?
