Using Tiscali as my isp while in Carribean

Wendy has an account here with a yankie company for her unlimited braodband ,
its called Earthlinks , an its supposed to be upto 16mbps , but its horribly slow ...

YES I Know we are on a Carribean island !......but I have tried testing my speeds an its awful like dial up .....an some pages dont load , an I get 404 Error messages ..

what I was wondering Is ....
can I set up tiscali here an logon on to my uk addy /sign in ?
its still live at My home address in Manchester ????

this morning having a few beers in a ex pat bar , I got some advice off london lad here ...use a proxy server ...

I am using a proxy server as the Ips assigned here are all the same ...slow/ bad connectivity ....

if I use my tiscali account I will be using my old Manc ip/broadband ...

wonder if anyone has some advice ....??

Moz, you can't necessarily expect the same quality and speed of ADSL service that you had in M/cr, and using your Tiscali credentials isn't possible unless Tiscali offer a service there.

Your best way forward is to talk to the locals and find out the name of the best provider for where you are, and switch to that one. And I'd be surprised if it was Tiscali, given that they're sh*te in the UK.
